I am going to be behind again on my February finish- hopefully will make some headway this weekend. Since it’s a birthday gift ( because I didn’t finish it for Christmas) and the birthday is March 20th And I have to send it across the country- I need to get it done. My ( need to be quilted pile isn’t going down very fast....I seem to be having a problem working on them. I guess slow and steady is all I can hope for.

Made it! Small Baby quilt. Fleece backing. My *very first* FMQ - a big loopy meander. Turns out fleece is very forgiving. Thread buries itself right in and you can't see any eyelashing or other amateur hour evidence.
2 more to go....

Sad to say, last day of the month and the only progress I made on this particular UFO is that I have it pressed (again!) and I've stitched the last row on. One of those weeks that life has intervened (sigh).

Love the Hunter's Star. I made a 2 color blue/off white one using the Rapid Fire Hunter's Star ruler. One of these days I will make another one. I really like the looks of it, and they are really not hard to do.
I need to go through my bins and see what's next. i have 2 stash busters started, so next should be another UFO. This week got lost to doing taxes and quilting my BFFs 6 quilts on the longarm. Now maybe I can get back to my own stuff.
