Sewbizgirl, the optics in your quilt are great! That type of pattern really attracts my eye. Thank you for the comments on my quilt. I enjoyed the swirls so much. The triangles were a little tedious, but I like how they look.

Thank you, Krisb....I love your recap!
Conchalea....i really need to make another log cabin quilt after seeing yours. The quilting design looks awesome.
Sewbiz....very cool finish. Looks amazing. I'd be in big doo doo if I counted my kitted projects as UFO's. Maybe I should so I can get motivated to start them. With that said, I did start/finish one kitted project and am now working on another project I kitted awhile ago so I'm getting there.

Thanks everyone, for your kind words about my quilt. As for kitted quilts, I counted it because it wasn't a true kit that came with the fabrics all together. I had to hunt them down and order each fabric separately. I consider that labor that I've put in, so the quilt had been "started". Does that make sense?
Not sure if my son will end up getting the quilt. I'll let him see it first and see how he reacts to it. I don't want to just foist it on him and then find out he never hung it up or used it. I'll enjoy it at my house, until he comes for a visit and sees it.

I really like your FMQ, Conchalea. Very creative and it goes great with the log cabin blocks.
SBG, that counts as a UFO in my books too! I'm sure your son will love it.
My UFOs seem to have slowed to a grinding halt. I wish I had more time and energy. But at least I have an excuse why my energy level has tanked: I'm pregnant again!!! We are really excited! I've always wanted a large family. I haven't had my first appointment yet, but according to an online pregnancy calculator, I'll be due in February.
I'll need to start another baby quilt. That will be fun!
