Well, my house sale was cancelled. This has had a ripple effect, because now I can't buy my new house, those people can't buy their new house, & on & on. I've almost cleared my house out & am planning to move in with my daughter. I have found a new realtor who will list my house again, my 'new' house & loan have bother been extended for 60 days, so if my house actually sells by this new deadline, I'll be able to move into the new house. To add insult to injury, all my fabric is way at the back of the store room, blocked by huge stacks of boxes & furniture.

cherrybsixty: Congratulations on posting a picture and your lovely completed UFO!

Conchalea: My heart hurts for you. Prayers that it will sell fast.

Cherry....beautiful finish. Whoever you gift this to should love it.

christimelf....that is a special quilt. That may be the oldest UFO I have ever seen but the DWR is timeless. It's awesome that the retailer was so helpful, too...

Conchalea...what? Oh, goodness...! That happened to me but it worked out as a blessing since a week after my first escrow fell out, my MIL was diagnosed with BC...so I was so grateful I was still there to help her. There is a reason for everything... Maybe the blessing is that you shouldn't be moving during this virus. Just buy more fabric or maybe a kit to get you through until you sell, which you will... Hugs!

Dontcha hate it when you are stupid? Put an entire row together without the sashing. Had to rip-rip rip. Grrrr....I can't wait for this top to be done.

Progress report: 80" x 80" vintage log cabin is quilted, will take off longarm today, make binding and machine sew binding to front.
to Rff1010: Been there, done that!
Conchalea: Hang in there, this Covid-19 will subside/ Please stay well.

Thank you everyone for the good thoughts. things can continue here, my house may sell for more than the cancelled price, so that will certainly help. My fear is it won't sell within the 60-day extension & I'll lose the other house. Due to the high uncertainty of the times, I don't feel like I can spend $$ on fabric. Who knows how much toilet paper will go for on the black market?!? Lol.

Conchalea, keep the faith, it will go according to plan and better, just believe

Christinelf, please forgive me on the misspelling of your handle earlier, 'count it to my fingers and not my heart,' and you are still most welcomed to the forum

Stay safe everyone

Rff1010: I forgot a sashing earlier this week too. Then yesterday, I didn’t pin two fabrics together and couldn’t figure out why my design wasn’t the way I had planned it. I just left it and redesigned. Lol! So let’s hope we are done with major use of our seam ripper for a long time.
