Congrats, WMUTeach! I love pink and black together. It always makes me think of chic Parisian women in pink suits and high heels, LOL.

My current ufo...kitted up at least 3 yrs ago. I ran out of green for the blocks so whipped up those substitutes in the corners. Now just to sash and assembly.
it was supposed to be for my nephew (19) but somehow it's not screaming young man to me. I may finish the top and then closet / reUFO until the home appears. Maybe when he's ready to graduate!
Work has been such a bear. My sewing machine is my refuge.

Great job, so far, Rff1010.... I like the color combo and the creative corner blocks. Must feel good to get to a 3yr old kitted project. Woohoo!

OOO-La La! I had not thought of the pink/black inference but it sure fits. Thanks for the smile!

Rff1010: I like your quilt. Great save for the corners. It’s a good thing you have your sewing machine for your refuge.

I finished 2 UFO tops recently. They will go into the church quilting box for the group to finish.

Both were kitted up last year. The first one has 7” and 10.5” blocks in it. The plain squares were cut years ago by the church group and the pieced blocks were added by me over the years when I take one of my ‘need to sew simple’ breaks. 🤷‍♀️ The second one was cut with the 10.5” Crazy Quilt die.
