This is the first UFO I finished this year. It was a Merry Mayhem NYD mystery from about 15 years ago

cjssews, love the quilt. Fifteen years ago or this year, it is lovely. A finish is a finish no matter how old it may be.

I have been working on quilt blocks this VQW today. Hope to get to a UFO tomorrow. I want one UFO finished for this month of March.

Here is my March contribution to the UFO Challenge. Forgot to post ....in March. This was from 2020 and was an exchange block between a few of my quilting group fiends. The name of the quilt is "The Ups and Downs of 2020".

Nice finish cjsews and WMUTeach, a job well done. I agree wit WMUTeach, a UFO finish is a great completed quilt. Thank-you both for your lovely pics.

- since we started a new month yesterday, I decided to procrastinate a day so you would take me seriously on my ufo goals for this month. (Yesterday was April Fool’s Day), my goals = 1. Finish previous months unfinished projects. 2. Quilt 1-2 UFO tops = that just need to be quilted and bound. 3. Finish my lock-in 2020 UFO; 4. finish my bauble top (just needs borders sewn & quilted). That should keep me busy.

Love goal setting, happylab. I will be able to do the same in a month. Still teaching online for one more month. Most likely will not have a summer class (May/June) so I am planing on a deep dive into UFO's to get them out of the way. I was making good progress, when a friend gave me 5 bags of fabric that included some UFOs. She is no longer able to complete sew, therefore my total number of UFOs took a great leap upward. Keep setting you goals and I will try to catch up with your finishes next month.

Great finishes, CJSews and WMUTeach!

I fell behind and didn't do any work on my March UFO, so it's been moved to April and the April one is pushed back to May.. Hoping to get back on track this month.

I hope everyone had a great Easter or Sunday. We had a very quiet day.

Well I finally finished my first ufo top yesterday. An April finish yea. It’s my raggedy Ann throw quilt. It’s a simple top, but it still took time to get all of the right fabric to get it to work. I will be posting pics in a day or so.

i have been distracted from life issues and quilting tops for my friend and guild QOV group. I quilted a twin size top for my fried and working on 3 baby tops for her (this week project). I have a QOV top to quilt at the end of the week. Then I can get back to 2 more of my UFO tops. This month I will work on my previous months goals and quilt a disappearing 9-patch throw and a batik 2.5” square throw. On those I just need to cut out batting and figure out what stash backing to use. I will focus on my yearly goals each month.

Have a fabulous week everyone.

Every year the month of April is our * Friends and Family* fund raiser where we try to get enough money to purchase a few needed things that the budget doesn’t cover. Last year was a new maintenance truck, this year is replacing worn out gym equipment and a few other things— anyway, I’ve donated to the fund for the past 7 years I’ve worked there- this year I changed it up a bit…I donated 3 quilts to be raffled with the proceeds to go to the fund.
the raffle went really well, even some employees who had not donated in the past jumped in.
the three quilts were all one by residents who sure were happy.
it’s sort of ufos because the three quilts have been waiting a long time for a home outside of a trunk.
