What do you all think?
A bunch of people on the Facebook group are doing just that. Using 2” strips to yield a smaller block. I think your math works out the same as what I saw on FB.Originally Posted by Belfrybat

Good for your, QuiltingPandaBear.
I just completed the re-make block from A Quilting Life and much prefer the narrower logs. This also finishes me up with BOMs. I'm tempted to start another since it's a long time until the 1st. But then I think about what will happen in Dec. when it's time to assemble the actual quilts.

@Belfrybat I think the narrower strips make a better balanced block! The original was good, but I think this is an improvement!

I didn't know there was a FB page. Do you have a link?
I think this is the link. If it doesn’t work, just do a search for ‘a quilting life with Sherri and Chelsi’ on Facebook

Cuts and Bolts Game Day Mystery is up and running! Sherrie's mysteries are the best. There will be a few clues before the actual day and then several on that day. For the NYE quilt a lot of folks finished that day, and I finished the next. Please consider joining in this mystery. https://www.facebook.com/groups/3768...27485747812134

Is there a support group to help people stop starting new projects, like Squirrel Chasers Anonymous?
I think I am going to do this mystery scrappy QAL on YouTube from Jessica Dayon.
At least if I am breaking my rule not to start anything new in January, it’s to work on a project that’s 100% scraps?
