I thought I recognized your fabric when I saw those photos on Quiltville, Jeanne! They are excellent. There was one poster there who said she had tried about five times without success, then she finally asked her DH to watch the video and watch what she was doing, and he noticed something wrong with her ruler placement. I think for people having trouble, it must be something like that.

RE: Fabric Bundle from Whittles
I did order the bundle from Whittles since I'm a new quilter and have an extremely difficult time coordinating fabrics.
This is what they sent me; rec'd it last week. Last night I was at Lowes and picked up the paint swatches.
I just started on my four-patches today (yeah, I have a lot of catching up to do).

Ok, went back to my sewing armed with all the info from you helpful ladies and Jeannes wonderful pictures. Success! Thank you everyone. I have 15 finished and am going upstairs to my machine and crank out more.
Sheep Farmer, beautiful neutrals and the other fabric as well. Which one in the magenta's will you use for your constant?

Thank you for the explanation and pictures; I also had lots of wonky pieces that had to be ripped out. The problem was that the left side extended too far up on the top edge. I'm still not sure of the cause as it seemed that I was placing it accurately....perhaps stretching?
