This has been such an amazing journey. Even though I have not actually participated in the MQ challenge, I have followed this thread avidly since somewhere around American Thanksgiving. :-) I'm so overwhelmed by how beautifully these quilts are turning out, as well as how each one is unique and special and reflects the personality, style, and creativity of the makers. Thanks for being willing to share your quilts here for us lurkers to admire!

Queenbarbiej, you've done so much work! I really like the effect of your setting triangles on the pink quilt, both the pretty floral and the aqua (green?) corners. With the aqua corners and the wider sashing, it has less of the effect of boxing in the blocks, and more of the effect that they are floating on the aqua, which is very nice. Your second quilt is also beautiful. Well done!

Queenbarbiej, that blue/purple combination is stunning. I am really liking the outside border on the quilts. For those of you that have a queensize bed. Is that needed to fit modern mattresses? I really lilke the look.

Queenbarbiej. The purple is stunning!
The weight of the quilt top seems to have started my wrist pain up again. I may end up setting it aside tomorrow and work on blocks for another project. I have now passed halfway in assembling and may just put the other part together and do one seem with all the heavy bits together. This is what I have done.....

Queenbarbiej---Just wow! Two quilts. They look fabulous. I'm partial to blue, so the blue/purple quilt really struck a chord with me. But they are both lovely. Congrats on quite an accomplishment.

I've been slacking so much -- gotta get back to work today. Originally I thought I'd have the top together by tomorrow -- well, not likely to happen. But today is not only work but bowling for hubby as well, so I'll have a lot of time available

I'm plugging along with the rows. I love all the photos you've shown! This is such a pretty quilt. Not sure about the geese though.
I may or may not use them. But I don't have to worry about that yet.
A few years ago Moda had a line called Nest and I bought a ton of it. That's what I'm using for the aqua. I like the narrowness of the sashings.
Bonnie always challenges me and that's a good thing!
Queenb- GORGEOUS!
