Well some of you may remember my jar of 1 1/2" cut 9P's. I dipped into it and pulled out 648 (read as 5832 1" squares), paired them with scrap cream and off white squares and rectangles to form this really big mini quilt which measures 91 x 106. Quilt layout was inspired by an antique quilt I had found on line.

OH me OH myyyyyyyyyy .... OKSGlad ... that is absolutely incredible!
A beautiful finish, mating your 9Ps and creams/whites with the brick.
Stunning as a flimsy ... and will be even more beautiful once quilted.
Sure hope you plan to keep this for your very own self, once done!

.............. except when they get stitched in the wrong place!
*hint* ... I do the same as you and oversize the applique background, so I have something to work with, instead of the tiny finished block size. Plus I get a nice sharp edge when I trim it off. What I do though, is to mark on the finished edge line, to make sure I get all, within the boundaries! It's been working good ..... so far!
