"pssssssst Tell her that you will even let her do them in Halloween fabrics and you might get her attention!"
Ah QuiltE, I knew you had a mean streak. Telling everyone my kryptonite. Still no. I don't have the book.

Thank you. The friendship tree is mine and is hanging in my dining room right now.

Absolutely amazing. So many favourites but I think I like Water Lily best. It practically glows.
Now that I see the appliques in order, I think I recognize one of the fabrics.
So, in order to not repeat a blue, how many more do you need? I see there are over 200 blocks. And are you really doing each block 4 1/2"?

Thanks JeanieG ... have a great get-away this week!
Good Eye W4Me ... and thanks to you too!
Yes, final applique, World Series is THE one!
169 blocks + 52 triangles + 4 kites = 225
Only time will tell if I do the whole thing ... or stop at a Baby Jane!
Yes, each of those little ones, finish at 4-1/2"!!!
Here's a link to the original quilt from 1863, so you can get a look at what we are emulating.

Then check out Google Images and see some of the recently made ones, and variations from the original pattern.
