That's such a cute wall hanging. I think most of us are ready for fall. It's been in the low 80's here all week and about 60 - 65 at night. Just perfect.

Wow ladies, those are some great sunflowers you are posting. I am hoping to get started on mine soon. I did cut the background and backing fabric for the today. I am going to try some small Dresdon's and a large Dresdon plate also. I love the ones with the additions of the bees.

NZQuilter: love the wall hanging! Don't know the size of the leaves, but I bet you could replace them with the small sunflowers and have another completely new look. Either way, it is great.

Funny you say that, Murphy224. Actually, the pattern I used is a Connecting Threads pattern that has flowers instead of leaves and pumpkins! I adapted it for Fall

My sunflower block.. I shrunk pattern down 20% because I wanted a smaller block for my layout so these are mini sunflowers. Not perfect but that's ok...

Hi teen welcome home! Your block is the most traditional I have seen. It looks great from here. Much more uniform than mine.
Did anyone else use yo yo's for the center?

Teen your sunflower block is adorable. What stitch and thread do you use to sew down the applique?

Great Minds! Thanks for the info on the pattern, like you, it looks like it could be adapted for any season or reason. Gonna see if I can find it.
