I changed out my cow for one I found in a magazine. I just have to pull the muzzle back off. I'm going to line it so the black and polka dots don't show through. I wondered when I fused it down if it was going to work. Not a problem. An easy fix. A farm has to have a cow, right. I think I forgot about a cow this morning. Glad it hit my brain. My initial background and cow pattern that I tried this morning didn't work out. I was trying to adapt a pattern but just couldn't solidify the measurements for it in my head or in the demo . So, I'm making this cow instead.

And, here is a sample of the sashing and cornerstones I'm going to use. I wanted to bring bees in some how. So, the cornerstones are a cute glittery bright yellow with small bees. I love how the sashing color looks. I did wonder if it would work when I bought the blue for the sashing. I am happy to say, no waste. I love it.

Mousie, it's a great idea to add an apple tree. I just might do that. He does look awful excited, doesn't he. I love when embellishments spill out into the sashing. And a tree is perfect for that.

Ms. Cluckers is all ready for her debut. I really enjoyed making this one. It was so much fun. The only thing not permanent is the eye. I don't know if I'll use the button or embroider her eye to make it look like she is sleeping. (Like the pattern.) Either way, this one was a joy to put together.

Oh, what a cute hen, Judith!! Her red fabric reminds me of the story book of the Little Red Hen who baked the bread all by herself. (I loved that book!) I like the small button eye.

Thank you NZ. Originally, my hen was supposed to be yellow. But, this red just spoke to me. I initially wasn't sure it would work. But, I love how it finished up. I enjoyed making this block very much.

This is the block I'm working on right now. I want to try to incorporate the sunflower block also. But, like Teen, I want to reduce the size of the sunflowers so they look right to scale for the background. I've just laid on or pinned all the elements in place right now.

You are so talented, inventive and imaginative (is that a word). I love your work!

Thank you AnngelAnne. But, I can't take credit for all of it. Facebook has some great inspiration for these blocks. I am having fun with them though.
