Thank You Nan. The horse block shows the blue barnon right, it's the same on the other side. Just the handle shows up,due to lighting from my window. In person it shows much better contrast to the black inside the barn.

I just didn't like the plain square look of hers. Mine fits my other animals too. Thanks for the compliment.

I have enjoyed everyone’s blocks. I continue to be amazed by the creativity in adapting them to your personal preferences.

sjens, i'm not involved in this swap.
about 7 years ago, i was in the funky farm swap.
don't cut off the horse's hair. it add something to it.
i went really funky, i had a jackaloupe, watering trof,
a big farm in the middle with a chicken looking out of the
top window of the barn. i croched out of a yarn that was
stringy, a big bale of hay, and i also had a food silo. my borders
were a white stockade horse type fence. i had a sun and a cloud,
and a cat chasing a mouse, both funky looking.the border was quilted
all in flowers. I didn't do the quilting, i mostly do hand, but a woman
on the board, chiggerhollow, LA'd it for me back then. It's adorable.

Finished! I just couldn't wait till tomorrow for the final block. I substituted 3 blocks: a sunbonnet sue, an overall sam and a corn/tomato block (from Lori Holt.) This was a fun one.
