I still haven't decided on my background or secondary color. I have my 1st step (pinks) on the board and every time I look at it I see more and more red. I am going to finish the star points and go through my candies to find enough cream color. If that doesn't suit me then I will go with wow or an off wow. By then I should decide on a secondary color. If any one has a suggestion or suggestions for what to put with my pinks I would love to hear them!

Nice color combos being shown.

My good machine decided to 'act-up' tonight and I was sewing my Swoon pieces as leader/Enders. . My second machine is ready for me to pick up after it's maintenance service but I won't be able to get it until Saturday. So I decided to pull out my MIL's machine and there wasn't a bobbin in it! Grrrr! Time to stop for the night anyway.

As usual I'm just reading this thread but it looks like a fun quilt. Love what I have seen so far. I just might jump in and start one. I will definitely be following this thread to keep track of everyones progress and if I do start I will post pics of my progress.

Looking forward to the next clue, then maybe I can decide my other color. Went outside this morning at 9 am, just finished bar b que and I feel like I'm going to die. Hubby and I got the backyard done, flower beds, hedge and the main project of the pond and waterfall. Koi will be very happy tonight with the clean water. Tomorrow another day....

I'm following the 2nd pic. I'm using 2 1/2 " squares. I'm using christmas fabric or the colors of christmas fabric.
My primary color is blue.
my second color is white on white/ cream on cream fabric.
I'm changing the small white sections to green's, (wanting them to look like little leaf pedals).
my background will be red.
I will post pic when I get step 2 done.
