Giant Scrappy Swoon Quilt Along

Sheri, I am in LOVE with your swoon mini! It's my favorite one yet...
The golf towels are so pretty too. How cool that your daughter's picture is on the banners!
Kristakz, very interesting variation you came up with, and in great colors.

Sheri, I like your 1" mini swoon. I'm wondering how large the total project turned out. Very creative. Thank-you for sharing.
Your daughter's pic looks great on the poster. Have fun watching her play.
I ran into a snag working on my project, it's called work. LOL For the next 7 days I have free time to work on my quilting projects. Yea! So I can catch up on the last 2 steps. I'm excited about completing this project.
Happy sewing and and quilting everyone!!!!

Sheri, tell your daughter congrats from me! One of my son's was all state in golf through his high school years. Had several full ride offers and he went into somethng totally different..thought I would strangle him. Oh well..a mom's thing I guess. It was a fun time.
7 full days...you must be a happylab for sure!!!!

I'm finally back to working on the swoon. I'm sewing steps 4 and 5 concurrently which is making it a bit more interesting for me, jumping back and forth between the two steps. I've also been putting my background squares together, probably the last step, as leaders and enders so that's moving along too. I hope to have some pix by the end of the weekend. We'll see.
Sheri, love your mini-swoon! Great pix from everyone!

I too should finish up my top today. I just love it. It has out grown my floor space. Im going to try to quilt it on my sewing machine. Its a learning curve. But i hope there is another one. This has been fun.

I'm so glad everyone is having fun. I'm seeing all sorts of wonderful Swoons in lots of different sizes which is great.
Someone asked asked earlier if this concept could applied to other quilt blocks. Yes it can! Ever since I first saw the Giant scrappy swoon, I have looked at other star blocks differently and considered how I would enlarge them and I have one or two ideas rattling around.
I would love to see what others do with this idea.
