these all are so pretty. I think I can join now. Soooo late again. But I have been playing catch up so many years that if I were on time I would be lost.!!!lol. Am using pinks and greens with neutrals. Very scrappy. I do love scrappies.

I just kept sewing and sewing curiousity got the best of me. I just had to see what it was going to look like and pretty soon it was done. Still debating on a border or two but like the results so far.[ATTACH=CONFIG]518211[/ATTACH]

Krista, I think you are right. it's 24 half squares triangles. 3 half squares x 8 = 24 half squares. 24 x .5 = 12 of the larger squares of both primary & secondary colors.

It's eight 9 patches. 8x9=72

24 HST
24 primary sq
24 secondary sq

24+24+24=72
