Oh, what a joy! A new family member! Enjoy and spend as much time as you can to snuggle and coo with this little one. Grammies just can't help it.

I need to catch up! I think I have finished half of the July blocks, too much summer fun is interfering with my sewing time.

Thanks for posting DottyD! Your blocks are looking great! Yeah! No applique blocks this go round. I know there are more coming.

Thank you, Dotty! Your blocks are gorgeous, as always.

In the extra time I had this month (besides continuing on the applique), I've been working on an idea for my Harriet back, which I'll probably want to get off the wall before I begin on this month's blocks. Watching the Olympics has really interfered with my machine sewing this past week!

I am getting down to my final blocks. Whoopie Doo! Of this months blocks, I have already one two. Now, I just need to make my final choices for 6 more then begin assembling. Photos later. I am in the middle of heavy work for the class I am teaching and two deadline sensitive quilts to finish. (In the next 6 days! Yikes!!) One just needs binding. The other is a baby quilt, so should not be difficult to finish ASAP.

I am looking forward to some photos for this month. Love lurking with ooo's and ahhh's at everyone's blocks.

Here are my blocks for July, minus the applique one which I haven't started yet. My photo collage program likes 4 pictures so I threw in one I took last weekend
