Thanks for reporting it WMUTeach, it seems to run in cycles. It's sometimes funny what is posted. If it doesn't appear to be quilting related, I don't click.

Hi everyone, Well they couldn't do the procedure as the machine they discovered I would need ( 3D Mapping Machine ) wasn't available at my local hospital. So I now have to wait again and will have to go to a much bigger heart hospital in either West London or Central London ! Hopefully it won't be too long to wait ! I was very disappointed as because of the pandemic I had waited longer than I would normally have had to wait ! Oh well onward with Harriet !!! Have a lovely weekend and keeeeep sewing !! xxx

Sorry for the disappointment, Dotty! At least you now know what machine you need. I hope your wait will be short!

Dotty, it is so hard not to have a firm diagnosis. Hope things work out for you soon.

Bummer Dottie, I know it takes me a while to get up the courage to get something done medically. Our hospitals are lacking personnel, they have the machinery but are putting off certain procedures due to staff. Hope they get you scheduled soon. Thank you for leading this group. It's fun.

I can't believe I've already finished the blocks for August, now I need to go back and do that applique one from last month.

Dotty, I had a racing heart also. It is a very disquieting feeling. Definitely requires a sit down for a few moments. In my case they decided it was too much caffeine. I will send thoughts and prayers your way. Please keep us posted.

Who said this month's blocks are "easy"?? Or maybe it's this heat wave we're having. At any rate, I had a heck of a time with the one that looks like a lifesaver, the second in the bunch. For me, the easy ones turn out to be hard. I finally appliqued the shapes onto a square of background after swearing at the Y seams. It occurred to me later that I should have cut four 3.5" squares, then stitch n flipped small background squares on opposing corners. Anyone else? I found the third one, that looks complex, easy, so it's on to #4 today.
