Beautiful fabric choices, as usual.

Thank you! Not sure how much I'll accomplish in the weeks ahead nefore it all gets boxed up. This waiting thing is for the birds...lol...

Whipped out another without mitered corners. Definitely faster..

From what I can see I don't think it's going to make a difference as to whether the first round is mitered or not. Maybe if you used a striped fabric, but other than that I think it would be a lot easier without the miter. Great colors.

I agree with OK. I like the mitered corners but it won't make a huge difference.
I like what you did and the fabrics you used. So this is the next project?
Did you finish all other stuff?

How nice to hear from your hubby OK. I read it elsewhere you weren't together for the first time.
Triple celebration.....oh well there's a first for everything.
Hopefully you still had a great day!
And no, I didn't embroider the birthday card myself.....LOL

Hi ladies, I don't think there's a huge difference. The first one with the mitered corners looks a little cleaner. They blend. The second one the seams are a bit more prominent. I believe when it's quilted, there will be no great difference between the two.

I finished my Seeing Stars QAL Quilt. I had originally posted it a day or two ago in a different thread. But, poof, I can't find the thread today. Politics, I guess. So, here's my latest finish. I had a great time making this quilt.

Judith I love your Star Quilt. I was hoping to do that quilt along but too much life got in the way.

Thanks Ok and Wannabee. Maybe you'll get a chance some other time to make it Wannabee. I'm already thinking of the possibilities of doing this quilt again in pink. Not right now, but, down the road. The pattern was a dream to follow.

It was a sew along. Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting offered up the free pattern. Here's a link if you want to check it out. http://www.happyquiltingmelissa.com/...-along_30.html I am not affiliated with her or her blog. I just had a great time quilting along with a great pattern. (I am not a blogger.) The quilt along ran weekly. I finished up on time. But, it took me some time to get my quilt to and from the lady who quilted it for me. But, I am very happy with the outcome.
