Went to LQS today to say goodbye and looked at Kaffe fabric for Bring Me Flowers pattern but didn't care for them so I'm still on the hunt for fabrics for that pattern...may do 1930's..not sure......still undecided on LTG colorway, too.

Right Macy, forgot about Bakers Dozen. That one is in a bag, waiting for a few other projects to be finished.

LOL Teen, you're creating UFO's this way. Bring me Flowers is a lovely pattern. I won't purchase it any time soon as I really need to finish what I started first
You could do a LTG in Christmas fabrics. I've seen a few and I really love them.

Teen tell me. Is Bring me Flowers lots of curved piecing? It certainly looks like it!
I really consider doing that one but I need to know before ordering the booklet. Can it be appliqued?

Yes, curved piecing.....the blocks in between floral blocks mostly, if I recall, but many of the floral's are curved piecing. I packed the book so I can't remember. She is repeating one block from GTSB and it was curved piecing. I ended up doing applique but I think you pieced your block. I do remember that you make two of each floral block pattern.

Lol.....every time I thought I made enough, I was wrong and had to make more, too. Super excited to see the finished quilt.

Tonight, I might have a bit of time to work on HB. I packed my sewing machine but I have appliques to work on still...and I can cut fabric for the many border designs in this thing. Then, when moved, I can whip out the machine and go for it. I will likely be making a trip to Georgia to help sister at home following her cancer surgery. My siblings are all staggering our trips so she'll be covered. She's having surgery the week I move but other sisters will be there for her....then when released from hospital, I'll be there. It will be a difficult recovery for her. So, lots on my mind and heavy on my heart right now. A bit of sewing will help.
