Oooo....pretty picture, Anael....
so excited to se your Christmas GW...
My vintage quilt is at the LA so working on small projects. Next on my agenda: I am tackling the double wedding ring pattern for my nephew's wedding present for this summer. I'll be doing applique on border so big project. Any suggestions on DWR is appreciated. Starting that next week...

Thanks Judith and Teen!
Teen, I never made a DWR so no suggestions other than using an embroidery machine Good luck! Not much time for a DWR but that depends on the size.
Can't wait to see your vintage quilt

So glad you had a good time with your DGD!!!
I don't do spring cleaning! Just the usual household duties which I really don't like! I rather sew or go for a ride.
Which I will do this afternoon after having cut a zillion of strips and sewing them together. Not there yet though!!
After finishing this one it's time to finish Bakers Dozen too.

I was worried about the time involved in a DWR, too, Anael, and if I would be able to finish it. I'm planning queen size. Not sure what is all involved with making one but I should receive my pattern in a couple of days. I'll decide after reading it. I know there are different methods in making one so I'll be researching before I start it.

Teen,
I made a DWR years ago. Hand quilted it. Had it on my bed for a long time. I enjoyed the pattern. The arcs are not too difficult to sew together. It's a gentle curve. Seems like I only used 3 pins on the seam. The drunkards path is way more of a handful. It's much smaller. I had to use 5 pins and glue!! You will do fine. Using a Judy Neimeyer pattern? Paper piecing? I was using a John Flynn pattern.

Thank you, sewing....I'm Ok with curves and do fairly well with them but this is a lot of them. lol... I purchased Neimeyer pattern (Flowers for my Wedding Ring), which I think is PP, but I read up on Flynn method, too. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. Tonight, I'm watching some tutorials. I do not want to buy any more templates. We'll see. I'm psyching myself up for it. Pattern's been on my bucket list but never had motivation to make. If I think this will not get done in time for wedding, I'll just keep at it and keep it for me. Love the applique on her pattern.

Hi Ladies, I am loving all your posted photos.
Anael, your Sylvia Farmer's Wife Quilt is really a work of art. Great job.
Teen, Your great with curves. And, I'm sure all your research will pay off. If you purchase one of the Wedding Ring Die Cuts for a cutting machine, your cutting will be very accurate. Maybe one of the quilt shops has one you can rent or borrow.
I bought a few FQ's from Thousands of Bolts to freshen up my scrap bins and scrap projects. I received them today. (I know, bad girl. As I'm part of the fabric moratorium. But, I fessed up.) I am blown away by the quality. The colors are a little different then my computer showed. But, I can still work with that since it is all going into scrappies. And, those FQ's were cheaper then JoAnn Fabrics regular price. They were all designer names also. I will definitely order again in the future. The shipping was very reasonable also. But, I didn't buy too much. As I wanted to see what the quality was like. They are one of the few places I have found that sells individual FQ's.
Anael, I don't think their International Shipping is worth it.
I really love color. The 2 on the left hand side are going into very specific scrappies. The rest will be divided into lots of different scrappy cuts. They are not even going to make it into the fabric drawers. They are going directly into scrap bins.
