I thnk it becomes hording when you can't push yourself to cut your fabric. I don't have that problem and love when I can use what I have!
So I'm no where near hording on fabric - now vintage sewing machine . . . that may be hoarding - don't use them but can't part with them. The other day I walked out to my car at work - and there was a case on the ground next to my front door. Really nice little National machine. Hmmm- it's still in the back of my car.

I like to call it Fabric Collection. Everyone has collections...mine just happens to be fabric. I just rotate the collection pieces a lot. Lol... Oh well. Who cares? We are doing what we love and surrounding ourselves with beauty as we do it. See? Nice visual... Lol...
Same with vintage sewing machines. Some people collect dolls or art work or whatever...they serve no purpose then to just sit there and be admired and loved by the collector. I don't collect sewing machines but I can certainly see having this collection.
