March UFO finished!
1 Attachment(s)
Hey all,
here is my March UFO finish. It started out 7 or 8 years ago as a spiderweb block quilt- back when MSQC first started offering their template and papers. Over the years it got put together and taken apart. Finally I put the blocks together and treated them as 4 patch units and turned it into a D4P. So now it's a fractured spiderweb. Anyway. Got the binding on it on Sat. and it's been being blocked since then. Still needs a little more blocking to straighten the bottom, but I consider it done! Yay! Rob |
That is spectacular, Rob!! The piecing and quilting looks amazing...Congratulations on your long ago UFO finish...
Rob I've looked at this several times now and it reminds me of a reflection in a cracked or sectioned mirror...or even a fractured Picasso like painting. Great job!
Rob, fascinating result as always! Your quilt reminds me of the kaleidoscopes I've loved since I was a kid. It's fantastic, with the quilting echoing the block shapes.
Rob that is so awesome! How did you quilt it with all the seam intersections? Just the negative areas?
It’s gorgeous, Rob! Lovely quilting, too.
