Oh happylab...I didn't see your quilt...It's gorgeous! The Daisy quilting is so sweet with this layout. A little peek of petals in the dark areas. Looks really cool. Congratulations on finishing. That is an old one and must feel good.

I finished quilting my current UFO today! Now I'll see if I can get it bound by the end of March.

Vintage quilt top done! Yea! Sandwiching tomorrow using stash backing then off to LA next week. Then...doing some hand embroidery to finish it up....will share picture when all done...

Definitely want to complete some UFO’s this year. I have two I want to complete in April. I will see about a count and PM you HappyLab. It will be nice to have some UFOs become quilts this year.

I have the top sandwiched trimmed and binding made, sewing it on today and will take it with to WI for the weekend and have a nice relaxing time sewing it down. With luck I will have a finished ufo on Sunday? |

DS welcome to our thread. I hope you enjoy the ufo show and encouragement we give each other. Hopefully this works for a pic. Still unable to post another pic. Tried 3 times so far. Anyway I completed a very simple cheater’s baby quilt. All I had to do was add binding. I bought the quilted panel many years ago for my GN, but never had the right fabric and top together at one time. Next week it going out in the mail for another GN’s baby boy. The othe project was a very small Santa and Rudolph Dollie, (at least that’s what I called it). I’ll keep trying to post pics. Back to other UFO’s. Happy sewing everyone. |
Kudos to those who are finishing their UFOs. I'm busy quilting but except for two they are not UFOs. I'm just finishing one up and hope to have a pic by Monday. Perhaps two if I will get my hiney in gear and finish the quilting. I go in spurts and will quilt one or two a day for several days, then stop to piece some more. I'd much rather piece than quilt!
