I think I've finally settled on a group of fabrics from the stash that I can live with for this mystery quilt. The first group was just way too "loud" for my comfort zone. Here goes.....

Podunk, I love your colors. I usually favor more muted colors as well but this time decided to go bold. Is that what they'd call "outside my comfort zone?"

Podunk Princess, love your colors can wait to see how different it looks from the other GIs! Especially love that dragonfly b&w.

Well, looking at everyone's bright & cheery fabric picks I decided I'd make mine that way too...so scrapped the first choice of the pastels (will save for another quilt) & this is my final pick. Look ok? The green is actually brighter in person.

I am so ready to get the first clue.
We have less than 10 days till we start. |
counting the hours.......what time, and time zone, do the clues post.......'cause I could be there...be there right at mid-night......rotary cutter in one hand and the other hand hovering over the ruler rack.... not that I am impatient or anything like that :)
does anyone know how to insert a countdown day/timer thing like they have for sports stuff.... would be great to have on this chat link ! |
