We currently have over 1% of the members of the board involved in the quilting adoption activity. I think that is really cool.

There are some "newbies" out there that would probably welcome our help and guidance and have lots of questions that maybe they are too shy to ask, or they may not know how to ask about certain things, for fear that they will be considered "dumb questions".
So, QUILTERS,UNITE!!!

p.s. don't take butterjoy, she's mine! :D

Oh, my gosh...I am SUCH a newbie. I even posted a newbie sort of question. I am definitely up for adoption.

I am down the road from you - ok it's 374 miles and you're on the southeast boarder of Az and I'm on the northwest boarder of Az, but we are in the same state! If you need help just holler! I am not an advanced quilter, but could help with the basics for sure.

I would appreciate a mentor. I just really started quilting this winter even though that means I finally finished a quilt I started over 3 years ago (still have binding to do). I'd like to take some classes but can't seem to get the class and my schedule to match. I seem to be doing things by reading a book or winging it. Thanks.

my daughters quilt took me 14 years. Your still doing ok on yours. I'd still be working on it if it weren't for Deb. She taught me some techniques that allowed me to finish.

Please pm me if you want to join the group activity.
