Wow Anna, you are already done with this weeks block, looks great. Givio pretty fabric in your block.
My blocks are done with the exception of this weeks newest addition, I just haven't posted any pictures yet.

I'm glad you posted this! I going to make a quilt for a cw enthusiast. And I didn't have a clue what to make for her. Thanks for making this process a little bit easier! Next on the list is to purchase some cw fabrics.

Thanks for the kind comments. I just happened to have made this block previously so I am not really that quick. I am actually slightly behind as I still need to do last weeks block. On Tuesday my daughter will be heading home and I will hopefully have some more time to quilt again. I will be sad as we all had a wonderful time visiting and she had brought her 3 little ones.

With this pattern I am pressing all seams open and that is working really well for me. Anyone else pressing all seams open. Just curious.
How about using a die cutter? This has saved me a lot of work and works out great with these patterns as many have the same basic unit of 2 inch finnished 1/2 or 1/4 triangles.

It's a beautiful day and I should be out in the garden, but no!! I'm making this block. My seams are not open and I just use a rotary cut which I had to buy another one over the weekend as I had worn the other out.

givio beautiful block. Anna I love when ya all do different from the directions. Yours really looks scrappy which I really like. Battle Axe very nice. I also just hand cut and usually press to the dark. Sometimes I have to press the seams in the other direction as I sew them together, so they nest together. Aren't these all just gonna be so nice together. Cheesehead please post your pictures too. Happy Memorial Day everyone. Hope you all enjoy it and remember those who have passed. Hugs Mary
