DottyD...I just love your block. Good eye with color. Here is my # 7 in Fresh Lilacs. I am really enjoying doing this but sort of slow on those 42 16 patches. My heart was warmed when I actually read the directions and learned that there are only !!! 42 plus 4 corners. I always read the directions last. There have been some embarasing incidents. Marcia

Love the new block, Marcia! That border just kills it!

I usually only read directions as a last resort. I look at the picture and make it. Written directions take me three times as long!

My dad always told my sister, who messed up everything she tried, "If all else fails, read the directions", So I learned early to follow directions..............
