I'm sorry, Anna... I think my story was a little too graphic a description!

Naw, just telling it like it is! I can't imagine cutting the tip off... I just sliced mine and that scared me half to death!

What did someone mention? What is 'VWQ'?

Great pictures, Battle Axe! I like seeing the blocks together.

I was glad to have this week's block be in the same row as the previous ones we had done, as I wanted to keep sewing them together. I'm trying to sew a quilt for my granddaughter, so I hurried on this block and wasn't careful with my points. Here it is!

Virtual Quilting Weekend. Everyone tells what they are working on and shows pics of the progress.

Where is that happening? On Facebook or something? I never heard of it before. Is it every weekend, or just designated weekends?

I'm too lazy to write and ask about the size of the sashes. I'm assuming they are 2" finished--if not, I'll have to adjust for the setting triangles and outside border as I've put together the rows already. I decided to make the cornerstones a red instead of brown. I'm thinking about making a dark setting triangle instead of neutral, due to my lack of neutrals... We are past halfway on the blocks! My word, but this is coming along slowly. (I don't have a design wall. Usually I just use my bed...)
