Wow, you've had it really rough during this freakish month! How awful. I'm glad you're back up and running, though.

Our kids came home for a few days because we strangely did not lose power, this time - only water after a few days.

I thought I was decently prepped, but I've already started upping my game after this craziness. We got really lucky, this time.

Good to hear you Texan’s are safe and getting back to normal. Definitely a good dry run to evaluate your preparedness. We lost contact with many friends for a few days and that was a bit nail biting. But all is well with them..thank the Lord.

Motorcyclemad: Congratulations on your Quillow finishes! They will be loved.

Conchalea: How scary! I’m glad the 3 of you were together.

thepolyparrot: Fortunately you kept your power.

Conchalea, Polyparrot and other Texans: it must have been hard. I am happy for you that it is over.

Motorcyclemad: congratulations on your finishes!

I started quilting my RWB quilt yesterday. It seems huge to me, 84" X 104". My Baby Lock Jazz II has a big throat so there isn't crowding when I sew in the center. Exactly why I bought the Jazz!

Just got 5 UFOs back from the long armer and now all that's needed is the binding. Will get to that next week. Does giving a project away to someone who will enjoy it count as a finish?
