Conchalea that is perfect!

I should have a finish this week, I finished the quilting on this today and will clean up the threads tonight while we watch a movie. With luck tomorrow or Tuesday I will square it up and get the binding on. It's just a small lap quilt.

Apparently I had a zillion of these RWB squares & I just kept making 4P. I then combined these into 16P, added the star points, and wanted a bit more on the blocks. So DJ's pattern was perfect for that little bit more. I used the 5 blocks on the back or this quilt would have been way too big to handle. K is waiting on an embroidery machine she ordered, which we plan to use to make a label for my son-in-law. He served in the navy & marines in the 80's so I wanted to honor his service.
Outstanding QOV, Conchalea... Well deserving veteran. Please pass on my appreciation for his service.

Thank you everyone but it's not quite a finish yet maybe today or tomorrow. I was just showing the progress since this is the one that was suppose to be February. It's amazing what the proper walking foot for the machine make in trying to make a straight line! I'll send the email when its off the UFO list.

Oh Conchalea this is gorgeous your RWB, a great finish. You and K have done it again. I've always wanted to do one of those and an 'Irish Chain' one day I'll get to mark them off my list.

Dedemac your sampler is beautiful also

Got my first Covid vaccine today in another month I'll get second dose and I'll be ready to travel, stay safe everyone

Thank you for the compliments everyone. When I began the RWB as leader-ender sewing, I had no idea they would end up in such a huge quilt. I am proud of how well it turned out & it will look great on my DD & SIL's bed
