The tortilla will not roll, it will crack open. What I try to do is fry one tort, place it on a plate put a tort on top of it without frying and then fry the next one, and by the time you get all 25 of them done the ones that I didn't fry have absorbed some of the oil and will roll up. Then I flip the whole stack and start rolling up my cheese with the ones on the bottom because they have cooled off some and wont burn my fingers. Hope that helps.
And yes the frying does add to the flavor, I tried microwaving with wet paper towels and to me it lacked some of the flavor.
