Just wanted to let you know that I made this exactly as the recipe is stated. It turned out wonderful. Not a serving left behind. I made the crust the night before (what an adventure watching it bake!!), let it cool, then covered loosely with foil. Made up the custard filling and it stored nicely in the fridge overnight. Then spread the custard and cool whip (2 8oz containers was more than enough) on the crust the next morning. I also drizzled the chocolate syrup over each serving. It was fantastic, easy to make, and decadent !!!!! Thank you so much for this recipe.
