Go to http://www.asciitable.com/ and scroll down to the second chart.
the number in black is the ASCII number, the symbol in red is the ASCII symbol.
So, if you hold down the "ALT" key and type the ASCII number, when you release the "ALT" key the ASCII symbol will appear.
You may want to print out the chart. It will be easier to read.
Click on "File" at the top of your screen.
Click on "Print Preview".
Click on the field at the top right of the page that says "Shrink to Fit".
Change print size to 100%.
Click on the field that says "1 Page View".
Clickk on the words "2 Page View".
Click on the "Print" icon at the top left of your page.
In the Page Range section, click on the circle to the right of the word "Pages".
Press the "TAB" key or click in the box to the right of the "Pages",
Remove the "1" from the box and type "2".
Click on the "Print" button at the bottom left of the screen.
You have printed the pertinent ASCII Table.

You must hold the key down while typing the number. Try that and let me know.
