Like mine lumpy so does DH and since NONE of our kids (30's & 40's) don't invite us but want to come to our house we do as we please!!
But I must say dear Tothill yours sound just yummy so they are on my list for our Church Pot Luck Dec 8th feast day!

Heck, if I'm doing the cooking, I make them the way I like. But if I'm at someone else's home or if someone volunteers to make them for me, I eat them however they are made. To me, the texture of mashed potatoes is not something worth arguing about.

lynnie, I have one of those " crazy making" families too. At the holidays, I round up any and all friends who have nowhere else to go, and we have a blast sharing the day, playing games, watching the games, making the meal, cleaning up, and spending time with people who we really do like. I highly recommend it. Makes the holidays very joyful for us.
