I guess I have lumps in mine as I always make homemade and do not whip them. My DGD makes ours for Thanksgiving and adds bacon and cheddar cheese to hers. Sure can't put gravy on them !

Like mine lumpy so does DH and since NONE of our kids (30's & 40's) don't invite us but want to come to our house we do as we please!!

But I must say dear Tothill yours sound just yummy so they are on my list for our Church Pot Luck Dec 8th feast day!

Fun reading everyone's preferences

Heck, if I'm doing the cooking, I make them the way I like. But if I'm at someone else's home or if someone volunteers to make them for me, I eat them however they are made. To me, the texture of mashed potatoes is not something worth arguing about.

As long as the potatoes are peeled- I do not loke skins in mashed pptatoes.

Seems like a bowl of each -you could even leave some unmashed!

I call mine smashed potatoes, I like them just broken down so there is still some substance to them. I also leave the skins on. OMG.

This, I Love. You can't choose your family. Friends are the family you choose. What wonderful memories you make with friends.
