This is a recipe I found many years ago, and do not remember the source. My family calls it "Foam"
1 small container of small curd cottage cheese
1 small container of Whipped topping
1 small container sour cream
2 cups cut up fruit
1 small package jello (in a flavor to go with fruit)
Combine all ingredients in a medium size non-metal bowl. Stir to blend. Refrigerate for 2 or more hours in a covered bowl. Serve. (I have used larger containers, and the bigger box of Jello for crowds and it works too!)

I might be wrong, but it was just a thought. Maybe someone has already tried it and knows for sure?

here is a green one:
1 large can pineapple
1 package pastashio pudding (regular or sugar free)
1 tub of cool whip ( whatever brand you like
then you can add whatever you like such as coconut, marshmallows, more nuts
drain the pineapple juice into bowl and stir pudding in to it. it will be thick.
add pineapple and stir
add whipping cream mix it all up
then refrigerate to chill. i usually can't wait and take some before refrigerating it.
great for st patricks day

Thank you, I used to buy dream whip for my family who didn't like full cream, but as they have all flown the nest and made nests of their own I haven't looked for it for years. Off to take my 88 year old Mum for her shopping now so I'll have a look.
Thanks to everyone who replied.

never thought of that Carol...best stick with the coolwhip..thanks
I don't know that real whipped cream would work. The cream doesn't have any stabilizers in it and I'd be afraid that all the liquid that is inherent in the fruit would break down the cream and it would get runny.
I might be wrong, but it was just a thought. Maybe someone has already tried it and knows for sure?
