Default Maple-Glazed Chicken

This is good and easy to make.

4 chicken breasts, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 4 tsp lemon juice, 1 tbs butter , salt and pepper. You take the chicken and put salt and pepper on it and in a 450 degree oven put the chicken in for 10 minutes. Mix the liquids together and the butter and simmer in a small pot for 5 minutes. Take the chicken out and pour the glaze on the chicken. Cook the chicken another 15 minutes or until the juices run clear. Very easy and tasty.

Got it from the Dining on a Dime cookbook.

Thanks for this. At son and daughter in law's house and they are taking oldest grandson on college tours and asked me to cook. And here pops up a great recipe. They said yes so I went to the grocery store and got the ingredients. Will make rice and peas.

Wonder how the glaze would be on pork chops? Just add it to the chops after browning.

Good question. Probably delicious. I just put the chicken in the oven and then followed the directions. It wasn't browned but the flavor was good - we enjoyed.
