I tried your Easy recipe of 3 oz. orange Jell-O; 16 oz. tub of Cool Whip and a graham cracker crust. I garnished it with slices of orange candy. Thank you for sharing. My husband loved it!

I have a recipe that may interest you that might also make your desert even easier. I got it from an instructor in college.

“Foam”

Mix one small container of the following- whipped cream, sour cream, and small curd cottage cheese. Add one small box of jello, dry (flavor of your choice)
Refrigerate for at least an hour, but longer is ok if covered.
You can add a drained canned fruit of your choice.
You can leave out the cottage cheese and use extra cool whip, (but I like the unusual texture and tanginess).

Christmas is not Christmas without a dish of “Foam” at my house. No one cared for it the year I used peach jello, but that is just us, our favorite so far is lime jello with mandarin orange slices. With or without the fruit, it will be perfect texture for a pie crust (but you can put the drained or thickened/cooled fruit on top just before serving).

Have fun experimenting. *for the record, the jello in this recipe is completely dissolved by the time spent in the refridgerator.
