You could do, chickens, a whole turkey, ribs, etc.

Good eats!!!

How long does this cook for. We tryed some pork chops in a nice smoker my DS won & they turned out like hockey pucks!. I need some help before we use it again!

The breast took about 5 hrs. But I always use a wireless meat thermometer. Just stick it in, turn on and go about my business.

If you want a salad I have great recipe. It has romaine, sunflower seeds, mozz cheese, apples, and a sort of poppy seed dressing. Really easy to make. Let me know.

swedish meatballs, ii love them, way back in the old days (when i was a kid, lol) someone always brought a pot of "picnic burgers" which were hamburgers made in the kitchen in a gravy, then carried to the picnic. someone always brought lemon squares, too. I like cukes too. wash then slice them fairly thin, skin on, soak for an hr in very cold salted (brined water -it draws out what makes them limp), rinse well. then mix water and cider vinegar to just cover cukes amt cut up, sugar to taste (just a LITTLE sweet) and a bunch (I mean, a nice handful)of fresh dill (I grow it in a kitchen garden) chop fine, stir in. Very refreshing if you keep the bowl in a little ice. sharet

Have a really good beef brisket recipe from Taste of Home. Works well in a crock pot.

do you like ribs? I make some that the meat just falls apart and is very yummy!!! I put them in a pan (make sure they do not cover each other)..Put some foil over them and slow bake them at 250 degrees for about 5 to 6 hours..During the last hour, take the foil off put your favorite bbq sauce and let them finish cooking...

That's how I cook mine too. YUM.

I would suggest pulled pork. Take a large pork roast and rub it with Applewood seasoning rub. Put it in your crock pot on highto cook fasted or low if you have several hours. Do not add anything else---not even liquids. If on high in about 6-7 hours the pork will be shred easily. Have favorite BBQ ready on the side and some buns for those who like it on a bun. Honestly, this simple recipe will be a hit for you.
