    I also use my crock pot or roasting pan a lot during the winter. If the kitchen is warm enough, homemade yeast bread.

    a friend's church made some home made soup, they cut & cooked all night. They made 2 very large black cast iron pots.
    It was 6. for a qt. It was finished about 4 today.
    We bought a few.

    I'm putting smoked neck bones and pinto beans in the Crock pot before I go to bed. Tomorrow I will add veggies and serve over Corn Bread. Yummy! Tonight is just mixed veggies and turkey Stroganoff.

    Snowing like crazy since 4 this afternoon with Power Loss warnings !!! So, no crock pot for us---sandwiches maybe!!?? Thank goodness for gas fireplace.
