We always celebrate Valentines Day, our anniversary and other holidays at home. We splurge on nice filet mignon, veggies, potatoes and of course some type of dessert, wine or champagne. We cook the meal together and enjoy doing this. We do not go out to eat, too expensive and who knows what quality of food is being served.

I talked the DH into buying a couple of burritos at the local, Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, he only brought home one burrito. He had mis-ordered and didn't check the bag when it was ready. That's OK. We shared the one. That's kind of lovey-dovey in its own way.

I did not know that.
