OMG ... The "secret" ingredient has absolutely sold me on this one before I've even tasted it!

Our church cookbook has the recipe for "One Hundred Good Cookies". Almost the same as yours. One of almost everything!
    One Hundred Good Cookies
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. salad oil
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. oatmeal
    3 1/2 c. flour

    Mix ingredients in order given.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 12 - 15 minutes at 350º.

These are very similar to an old recipe called Rangers. They are delicious.

Made the Worlds Best Cookies this week and shared them with my neighbors. I liked them, alot, because they are good 'dunkers' for your coffee! Kinda sorta like a loaded shortbread cookie with good flavor. The cookies were not super moist so a few of the neighborhood testers (that aren't coffee drinkers) said they were just okay. But others loved them! Thanks for the recipe

I believe these are called Peanut Butter Blossoms. Yummy. First had them in the 90s

Thank you for sharing. My friend is making these for me for Christmas. I think like with all recipes, you can tweak them to meet your needs. So those that don’t like coconut can omit. I’m kind of excited to have a cookie without chocolate although of course, who doesn’t like chocolate. Actually, I have a few friends that aren’t keen on chocolate. I will definitely have mine with coffee. Yum.
