I also tend to use Eleanor's method for longer "ripits", but still use the old standby for others. Carrying the Olfa knife sound like a great plan, tho - I'll have to try it.

Definitely for charity quilts, just not for hospitals! Foster kids, kids involved in CASA (children in the court systems) and others would love any type of quilt that they could call their own.
