I use a generic short shank 1/4” foot on my FW that I had originally bought to use with an old Kenmore that I have. All the feet that came with my short shank Kenmore are interchangeable with my FW.

There is a product called Terial Magic that can be used instead of interfacing. It is a liquid that stiffens the fabric but washes out after the quilt is completed making for a softer quilt.

I once was told that Biz works well for stains on quilts. It is enzymatic and shouldn’t harm the fabric. I find that it works better than oxiclean for laundry stains.
