Trying to quilt again

I haven’t quilted for quite a few years. I cleaned my sewing room which took weeks & I’m looking at quilts to get me going again. This is what I need to look for… to make me sew. Thank you!

I only buy Steam a Seam Lite (I don’t know if it’s 2 or not). I’ve tried a few others, including Mistyfuse and Heat and Bond Lite, but Steam a Seam beats them all IMO!

Thank you for your advice. I think I will continue to ‘press’ my seams as I go. I don’t feel comfortable not pressing yet. I will try using a small roller to press my seams though.

If you lay your left arm from wrist to elbow down on ruler and press, it should hold perfectly still for your cutting, I’ve had to cut that way due to an injury and it worked well for me. No problems.
