All I can say is WOW! There's just something about all those older, hand-pieced blocks that makes them so beautiful. (Maybe because it reminds me of my grandmother.)

If you find some of the blocks are not square or are too uneven to use, sew them together all wonky and then randomly cut up to use as "pieced" post cards. Fuse to heavier fusible (Fast2Fuse or Timtex), stamp (Happy Birthday-or whatever) and send. They look great. It is a great way to use the traded blocks that are not the right size. Enjoy

That is a great idea! I had never thought of that. Some of these blocks ARE wonky.
