Two weekends ago we spent 4 nights camping at the beach. Last weekend we went up to Paso Robles wine tasting so this coming Labor Day weekend we are staying home! Now that our lives aren't structured around our kid's schedules we try to avoid going out of town on the holiday weekends. We are going to get together with friends, hang out around the pool & I will get some quilting done!

We have a wedding to go to, so cant go anywhere SIGH. I am so tired of people scheduling showers and weddings on holiday weekends, makes if difficult for others.

Unfortunately we are headed up north[just went there in July] to see my mom who is in hospice and not doing good. Plus. we are also going to the same city because DH's step-mom passed . So we wont be able to celebrate our 37th wedding Annv.. One of these years we will ACTUALLY get to do something exciting for our Annv. Hope everyone has a fun and a safe holiday.

I'm serving in a Cursillo weeked from Sept 1-4 at Aptos, CA while husband & daughter go camping with friends & family. No time to sew or sit to work on anything.
