I finished sewing the binding onto a large Lover's Knot quilt Saturday Morning, Bought lots of fabrics Saturday, washed and folded the fabrics last night and today. Did some housework today, getting fabric ready for a whole cloth type quilt I am making for a man who gives us fresh cleaned trout. It is a patriotic theme fabric and don't want to cut it up. Will put borders on it and FMQ it.

I'm sure every stitch of loving care will be appreciated by your friend.

I FMQ'd 5 childrens quilts for our Church ministry - the quilts go to the hospital ER and local shelter. Now I'm icing my tendonitis elbow. Can't be sure if it is hurting due to FMQ or using the mouse to see what you are all doing!

Chain of Faith from Moda Bakeshop. I saw it on the designer's blog and fell in love. Unfortunately, I spent yesterday dawdling around Watkins Glen when I went to pick up a quilt that I had LA'd, so am not as far as I'd hoped.

Still could get the top done this weekend, except I had to clean the house. Blech! That's a waste of hours sewing time!

I'm practicing some FMQ, sandwiching two tops I've had completed for years, going to the grocery store (grumble), and, hmmmmm, just enjoying the day... any takers on how much of all that I'll actually get accomplished???

And I think what you're doing for your friend will bring much comfort!! very sweet....

Busy Weekend!

My best to your friend. I've been fighting for the last 3 years. It's hard, but it's not neccisarily a death sentence anymore. I believe attitude is 90% of beating it. She needs to Fight Like a Girl!!!
Love your gecko quilt! also love your attitude! You go girl!!

Right now I have fabric being washed so that I can start cutting for a new quilt - a double nine patch. Can't wait to get started!
