Became an RN right after High School and have been working for 41 years. Have done lots of different things in nursing, med-surg; OB; Surgical Nurse, Director of nursing in a Nursing home, Pediatrics but the last 21 years of my career have been in Home Health and Hospice and I know that is where I am supposed to be. I love it. Hope to work another 3-4 years. It is fun reading about all of our working histories.

I am a retired GEOLOGIST. I worked for the U.S. Government for the National Forest Service (2 Forests), Bonneville Power Administration, the Bureau of Land Management, & the Bureau of Reclamation. All of these were located in the Pacific Northwest, God's Country!!!!! Unfortunately, in 1988, at the ripe old age of 40, I had to take a medically necessary Disability Retirement. That was 24 years ago. Since then, my kids grew up, so I quit making kids clothes, & about 12 years age, I learned to quilt. Until I joined the quilting board about 1-1/2 years ago, however, I really didn't enjoy quilting all that much. Since joining the board, however I've met many fun people, & my quilting has improved 1000%!!!!! Thanks everyone!!!!
